Deer Hunting
We offer a limited number of deer hunts during the year. These hunts are just for gun season. We hunt land in Rockingham, Caswell and Guilford counties. This area is known as the trophy belt of North Carolina. Some really nice deer have come from this area over the past few years including a 167 class non typical in 2006. There is a good population of deer in this part of the state that is why hunters from all over hunt here year after year. This also means that a first time hunter has a good chance to kill his or her first deer. We don’t have a lot of land leased this year for deer hunting so we are limited on our hunts. We would like to have small groups of hunters, such as father and son or daughter or maybe bring the wife. We put safety first on our hunts. We do everything possible to make sure that your hunt is done as safely as possible. All of our deer hunters must wear blaze orange and must use a safety harness if off the ground. We would like for you to work with your first time hunters before you come, just to prepare them for their hunt. Make sure your firearm is well sighted in before your hunt because we do not have a shooting range. We will clean and prepare your deer for your trip home if you desire. Make sure you bring a cooler or coolers big enough for your meat. Our guides are well experienced and will do their best to help you have a great hunt
